DCD Sonic Vizer™MODEL SV-101

ソニックバイザーは音の計測器です。
ラウドネス（LUFS）・トゥルーピーク・位相相関・スペクトラムを放送規格に準拠した方法で計測表示をします。 Not a music player, but an instrument for measuring sound. It reads loudness (LUFS), true peak, phase correlation and spectrum by broadcast-standard methods, and shows them on a panel that fits in your hand.

規格に準拠した計測Measured against the standards

音量基準であるITU-R BS.1770／EBU R128 に沿ってラウドネス値を計測。
トゥルーピークは4倍オーバーサンプリングでサンプル間のピークまで検出します。 Loudness is calculated to ITU-R BS.1770 and EBU R128. True peak is detected at 4× oversampling, so peaks that fall between samples are not missed.

マイクによる測定モードMeasurement mode, through the microphone

エコーキャンセル・ノイズ抑制・自動ゲイン調整をすべて無効。
（端末が加工したあとの音では、測定値の意味が失われるため） Echo cancellation, noise suppression and automatic gain control are all switched off. Measuring what the device has already processed would leave the numbers meaningless.

画面方向に合わせた適切な表示A layout that follows the screen

横向きでは全体を一画面に収め、縦向きでは縦に積んでスクロール。
計器の選択や並び順はユーザー自身で入れ替え可能。 In landscape everything fits on one screen; in portrait the panels stack and scroll. You can reorder the instruments yourself.

以下は計測器として定めている仕様です。 These are limits we have set deliberately. We would rather tell you now than have you meet them as a surprise later.

バックグラウンド再生に対応しませんNo background playback: 計測器という特性上、バックグラウンド再生には対応していません。 Switching to another app stops playback and measurement. The meters tap the audio output itself, so they cannot keep running in the background.
画面をロックすると停止しますLocking the screen stops it: ロック中は正確に測定できなくなるため、使用時は画面を点けたままご利用ください。 The same reason applies. Please keep the screen awake while playing. There are no lock-screen controls.
保護された曲は読み込めませんProtected tracks cannot be read: Apple Music 等の DRM 保護された曲は安全のため未対応としています。 DRM-protected tracks, such as those from Apple Music, are left out of the list. Showing them and then refusing your choice seemed the worse of the two.
音楽プレーヤーとして使用可能As a music player: 再生機能は計測のために備えているものですが、ビジュアライズされた音楽プレーヤーとしてもご利用いただけます。
※上記の仕様により、バックグラウンド再生と画面ロック中の再生には未対応です。 Playback is there to feed the meters, but you are welcome to enjoy it as a visualising player.
Note: for the reasons above, background playback and playback while the screen is locked are not supported.
